DO I NEED A VET REFERRAL FORM?
Yes, you would unless your dog is doing fitness swimming. Please contact us for further details. The form can be found here.
WHAT OTHER DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
If your dog has had any X-ray or any other documents relating to its condition, please provide as it helps us to further understand on the right approach to therapy.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO SWIM MY DOG?
No but your dog’s medical condition is the main factor here.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR THE SESSION?
No, we provide towels, shampoo, etc. Unless there is a shampoo that your dog must use due to either allergies or skin conditions, please bring it along.
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes, all sessions are pre-booked as we need to ensure that the slot given is solely dedicated to you.
WHEN CAN I NOT SWIM MY DOG?
Dogs with open wounds cannot go into the water as it will further aggravate the healing process. If your dog has ticks, we will not allow the dog to swim as it may affect the other dogs. We also do not work with dogs with aggressive behaviour due to safety concerns.
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
Each treatment is tailored according to the individual needs of the patient.
A normal session is about 20 to 25 mins but it all depends on the condition of the dog during each session. These would be age dependent, activities of the day etc.
WHAT PREPARATION IS NEEDED PRIOR TO/AFTER A SESSION?
NO FOOD
3 hours prior to a session as we do not want the dog to get sick during or after the session. If you need to feed your dog after the session, please wait for at least an hour and a half. Please skip that long evening walk on the day after the session as your dog may need to recuperate.
Please bring your dog to pee and poo before a session. Any defecation in the pool, a surcharge will be imposed.
VACCINATION
For the 1st session, please bring along the vaccination card, if any. For dogs that are not vaccinated, please provide a written note from your veterinarian that your dog has done the Titer test and is cleared.
